Advanced Modular Hardware Design
and Sophisticated Software Tools
Yield Customized High-Speed "Front-End" Measurement and Control Solutions of the Highest Reliability

Daytronic modular systems are universal front ends with extraordinary stand-alone intelligence.

Every Daytronic System 10, SPS6000, and SPS8000 incorporates a unique array of selected Signal Conditioner Cards, as dictated by the specific collection of sensors to which it is connected (see Instrument Models for Specific Transducers, below).  Thus, these systems support an exceptionally wide range of transducer inputs.

They also interface with virtually any computer under any operating system and programming language, but with no required computer overhead.

This means that the speed, accuracy and stability of low-noise, real-time analog signal conditioning and processing are made easily available to all kinds of PC-based data acquisition systems, distributed control systems, and industrial PLC's—when you want split-second control decisions, but not the expense of high digital sampling rates.

In fact, for a modular Daytronic front end, the overall throughput for finished engineering-unit answers—not just "samples"—is typically faster than for a comparable PC-based system, when the computer's signal-processing overhead is taken into account.  Given the wide scope of concurrent functions offered by every "intelligent" Daytronic system, the front-end processing possibilities are truly endless—and are never limited by the computer's own capabilities or resources.

The use of an external chassis to provide a low-noise front-end environment helps ensure drift-free measurement and dependable control action even in the face of substantial dynamic content, while open-architecture linkage makes real-time and historical data acquired by Daytronic systems accessible via many popular third-party software packages.
