Model 10A64-8C
Eight-Channel Voltage Conditioner

Input Type Description SPS6000 SPS8000 System 10
Voltage 8-Channel Voltage X-X
X*X
X*X

This general-purpose conditioner is similar to the Model 10A60-4, but allows low-cost input of up to eight miscellaneous external analog signals (rather than four). Although it has a narrower range of voltages and a lower common-mode operating range than the 10A60-4, it offers substantially higher internal accuracy (see Specifications). Unlike the 10A60-4, it has no auxiliary outputs from wire-wrap pins.

"Absolute" calibration may be used for a 10A64-8C channel if the parameter being measured is voltage itself. "Two-point" ("deadweight") calibration should be used if the voltage input signal is an analog of some other parameter that has at least two independently and accurately known calibration values.

Specifications:
  • Transducer Types: 2-wire DC voltage sources, grounded or floating, that provide their own power supply
  • Input Voltage Ranges: ±5, 10, or 20 V-DC; automatically selected- on an individual channel basis- when the channel is configured
  • Amplifier (per channel):
      Normal-Mode Range: ±20 V operating; ±50 V without instrument damage
      Common-Mode Range: ±20 V operating; ±50 V without instrument damage
Common-Mode Rejection Ratio: DC: -100 dB; at 60 Hz, 1 kHz, and 3 kHz: -150 dB
      Input Impedance: Differential: 2 M-ohm; Common-Mode: 0.5 M-ohm
      Offset: Initial: ±0.01 mV; vs. Temperature: ±10 mV/°C; vs. Time: ±10 mV/month
Gain Accuracy: ±0.02% of full scale
Gain Stability: vs. Temperature: ±50 ppm/°C; vs. Time: ±20 ppm/month
  • Filter (per channel): 3-pole modified Butterworth; 3 dB down at 7.5 Hz; 60 dB down at 100 Hz
      Step-Response Settling Time (Full-Scale Output):
To 1% of final value: 150 msec
To 0.1% of final value: 190 msec
To 0.02% of final value: 200 msec
  • Auxiliary Outputs: None
