Using
Daytronic's 5D
Series Signal Conditioner Modules, each DataNode16 is a
software-configurable multichannel system for bringing low-level sensor signals to multiple devices—including
PC's, PLC's, local SCADA networks, and even web browser interfaces.
The
low-noise rackmount chassis hosts up to 16 mixed 5D conditioners to create a highly accurate and
stable front-end device for the acquisition, recording, and transmission
of data—and one that performs at remarkably high speed.
DataNode16's
internal processor scans, scales, and digitizes 5D measurements at 16-bit
resolution and a rate of 64 kHz (4 kHz per channel).
Its fully open communications
platform provides fast, seamless transfer of finished-answer data
over a single cable, using the standard Modbus addressable
protocol. It's ideal for real-time data exchange with OPC client
applications. And it can receive simple ASCII mnemonic commands from any
of its host devices for purposes of interrogation, on-the-fly
reconfiguration, and local control.
