5D00

5D00

The 5D00 is a general purpose module in a 5D package that is used to provide a fixed input function for sensors that do not require the traditional 5D family of conditioners. These fixed function modules provide a specific input function (as listed below) which in turn delivers a 0 to 5 or 0 to +/- 5 Vdc amplified signal to the Model 4500 system. These modules provide a cost effective means of inputting general purposes sensors- like Thermocouples, RTDs, 4-20ma, and other signals which do not require the advanced features of the computer configured 5D Modules.

5DMBE-16

The Model 5DMBE-16 Rack Mount Chassis is a convenient way to organize the 5D modules in to a 19” rack mount application for common power and communications wiring arrangements. The Chassis will accept up to 16 5D standard modules (ex: 5D40) for 5Vdc analog output applications and 5D X1 modules (ex. 5D70VX1) for 10 Vdc analog output applications. The 5DMBE-16 uses DB25 conenctions for the motherboard to the 5D module connection.

5DMB-16

The new Daytronic Model 5DMB-16 cabinet-mountable motherboard accommodates up to 16 individual 5D modules with standard DB25 connectors, and typically serves as a front end for a PC with a 16- or 32-channel A/D card.  With its simple "relay strip" design, the 5DMB-16 connects all power and communications lines in a single serial port, and provides pluggable screw terminals for all module outputs.

5D78V

5D78V

The single-channel Models 5D78 and 5D78V are similar to the DC-excited Models 5D70 and 5D70V, respectively, but feature a highly effective phase-sensitive carrier-amplifier design. Three selectable operating frequencies are provided to best match the user's specific transducer.

The 5D78 delivers filtered analog output of ±5 VDC, while the 5D78V produces ±10 VDC.

5D78S

5D78S

The single-channel Models 5D78 and 5D78V are similar to the DC-excited Models 5D70 and 5D70V, respectively, but feature a highly effective phase-sensitive carrier-amplifier design. Three selectable operating frequencies are provided to best match the user's specific transducer.

The 5D78 delivers filtered analog output of ±5 VDC, while the 5D78V produces ±10 VDC.

5D70S

5D70S

The Models 5D70 and 5D70V are general-purpose single-channel conditioners for input of pressure, force, torque, weight, and other variables measured by conventional DC-excited strain gage transducers.

The 5D70 delivers filtered analog output of ±5 VDC, while the 5D70V produces ±10 VDC.

For both models, advanced analog design directly addresses the problem of measurement inaccuracy in industrial environments of high electromechanical noise.  Exceptional signal stability and accuracy over a remarkably wide range of sensor inputs are achieved through

5D64V

5D64V

The Models 5D64 and 5D64V are wide-range general-purpose instruments for conditioning the signal received from a DC-to-DC LVDT, potentiometer-type sensor, Hall-Effect device, photocell, current shunt, or other external DC voltage source.

The 5D64 delivers filtered analog output of ±5 VDC, while the 5D64V produces ±10 VDC.

For both models, the DC input may be either differential (floating) or grounded (single-ended).  Exceptional stability and accuracy over an unusually wide range of voltage input levels and grounding configurations are achieved through

5D64S

5D64S

The Models 5D64 and 5D64V are wide-range general-purpose instruments for conditioning the signal received from a DC-to-DC LVDT, potentiometer-type sensor, Hall-Effect device, photocell, current shunt, or other external DC voltage source.

The 5D64 delivers filtered analog output of ±5 VDC, while the 5D64V produces ±10 VDC.

5D40V

5D40V

The Models 5D40 and 5D40V are wide-range general-purpose instruments for conditioning the signal received from a Magnetic Pickup, quadrature sensor, Hall-Effect device, photocell, TTL sensor signal, or other external AC voltage or pulse train source.

The 5D40 delivers filtered analog output of ±5 VDC, while the 5D40V produces ±10 VDC.
