Incorporating the Series 3000 perfomance along with updated setup controls and ease of use features, the Model 3740 FREQUENCY to VOLTAGE Panel Instrument interfaces with most AC generated magnetic pickups, turbine flow sensors and other frequency generating sensors to  deliver stable - repeatable and accurate results. The 3740 contains a large LED digital display and a dynamic, selectable hi-level analog output signal for front end use with a PLC, Computer or Data Acquisition system.

These instruments accept any type of AC or pulse input signal, single-ended or differential, irrespective of waveform.  Each instrument produces one standard 5 VDC output, each precisely proportional to the frequency of the source. 

These conditioners are useful for measuring rpm, flow, and other phenomena that can be sensed by frequency-generating devices like magnetic pickups or turbine flowmeters (see the applications listed below).

The single-channel Model 4040 is used for measurement of flow, rpm, and other phenomena that can be sensed by pulse transformer transducers with two-wire isolated windings (tachometer pickups, turbine flowmeters, etc.), transistor or logic-circuit drivers, "zero-velocity" (true digital output) sensors, and similar frequency-generating transducers.

The Model 3540 is used for measurement of flow, rpm, and other phenomena that can be sensed by pulse transformer transducers with two-wire isolated windings (tachometer pickups, turbine flowmeters, etc.), transistor or logic-circuit drivers, "zero-velocity" (true digital output) sensors, and similar frequency-generating transducers.  It will accept virtually any AC or unipolar pulse input signal, floating or grounded.
