The LBVDRV7 communications driver gives users of National Instruments' LabVIEWTM software fast and flexible access to analog and digital data acquired by any System 10 instrument —while maintaining the intuitive "look and feel" of current LabVIEW functions and features. Using LabVIEW Version 7 versatile graphics-based "G" programming language, the Daytronic/LabVIEW interface can run on any platform that supports LabVIEW—including Windows, Windows NT, and Power Macintosh.
The Model OPCDR software allows direct communication between a Daytronic System 10 Data Acquisition System and any application program compatible with the OPC interface standard, via either GPIB or RS232. The server is designed to run on Intel-based PC platforms with Windows NT 4.0 (SP3+) or Windows 98 operating system. It is extremely easy to install and use.
The OPC Server consists of two main parts:
A Windows®-based upgrade of Daytronic's original TIMEPLOT utility developed and compiled using the special run-time version of National Instruments' LabVIEW™.
Daytronic's StartPac-100 is a versatile DOS based menu-driven software package, designed primarily to provide easy configuration and monitoring of a data-collection network of up to 99 Daytronic instrument "nodes" (3500 Series and 4000 Series with "N" Option). StartPAC 100 can also be used in a "single-node" environment when only a single 3500 or 4000 instrument communicates with a PC. In addition to its network setup and configuration "cloning" functions, StartPAC 100 offers a number of other valuable utilities.
The Daytronic LinPAC5 software package is a DOS compatible program for the purpose of providing custom linearization support and creation for a System 10 Linearization capable unit. Any System 10 mainframe can now furnish high-speed linearization of up to eight different system data channels (these would normally represent nonlinear sensor inputs).
Windows®-based 6KCNFG Configurator Software lets you quickly and easily creates the SPS6000 System configurations required for your specific real-world applications. A “configuration” is a full set of parameters that instruct the SPS6000 system precisely how it is to collect and process sensor based data. In addition to general system communications protocols and security provisions, a configuration includes:
Employing the run-time version of Microsoft® Access 2000, 5D Configurator software lets you define, store, edit, download, upload, and manage any number of “configurations” for a connected array of one to sixteen independent Daytronic “5D” Signal Conditioner Modules.
This version of the 5D Configurator software is a downloadable Windows based software package that lets you define, store, edit, download, upload, and manage any number of “configurations” for a connected array of one to sixteen independent Daytronic “5D” Signal Conditioner Modules. Every “5D configuration” actually consists of a numbered set of individual module configurations (or “setups”), one for each module in the connected network, along with general information pertaining to the complete collection of individual module setups.
Employing the run-time version of Microsoft® Access 2000, 3000PLUS (“3KP”) Configurator software lets you define, store, edit, download, upload, and manage any number of “configurations” for the Daytronic 3000PLUS Panel Meter. Every real-world 3000PLUS application requires its own unique configuration. A “configuration” is a set of operating parameters that instruct the instrument precisely how it is to collect, display, process, and output sensor based measurement data.
This easy-to-use software can greatly simplify the setup of a Daytronic 2000 Series Digital Panel Meter (DPM), Counter Meter, or Remote Display—whether or not the PC running the software is connected to the instrument (for connection to a setup PC, the instrument must be equipped with an optional SERIAL COMMUNICATIONS BOARD).
