These
are DC-EXCITED LONG-STROKE LVDT
models with UNGUIDED ARMATURE, for use in
low-voltage applications. They may be used, for example, with
digital panel meters to form a complete readout system.
Unlike
the standard DC "LU5" LVDT Series,
the DC "LU2" LVDT's operate from either a +5 VDC regulated
supply or a +6 to +18 VDC unregulated supply. Each LVDT
generates a single output signal of ±2 VDC that is electrically
isolated from the input voltage.
All models are
fitted with 2 meters (6.6 ft.) of shielded cable.
