large family of high-performance conditioner cards accommodates
virtually every type of transducer input. Yielding
exceptional measurement stability and accuracy, these single-
and multichannel plug-in cards feature the proven reliability of
true analog signal conditioning, with remotely sensed
excitation, per-channel amplification, and powerful per-channel
low-pass active filtering. Designed for use in System 10,
SPS6000, and/or SPS8000, each card provides an I/O Connector
accessible at the rear of the unit, for quick and easy
attachment of transducer cables.

offers a wide variety of robust, high-stability long- and
short-stroke LVDT's for fast, reliable measurement of linear
displacement in gaging, automatic inspection, and process
control applications—plus strain gage load cells for weight,
torque, tension, and other mechanical forces; strain gage
pressure transducers for gage, absolute, and differential
pressure; a piezoelectric accelerometer for use in vibration
testing; and a magnetic pickup for measuring the frequency of
mechanical rotary motion.

A
number of useful PC-
compatible software packages are available to facilitate the
setup and enhance the operation of Daytronic
instrumentation. These include networking, data plotting,
and general MMI programs for individual instruments, plus
configuration software for the larger Daytronic data acquisition
systems (System 10, SPS6000, and SPS8000). In addition,
there are third-party drivers, I/O servers, Daytronic "SofPACs,"
and other utilities specifically for use with System 10.
